Peanut sauce

Whisk together in a saucpan:


5 T. PEANUT BUTTER
3/4 cup HOT WATER
1 T. plus 1 tsp. TAMARI
1 T. plus 1 tsp. RICE VINEGAR
2 1/2 tsp. SUGAR
2 to 3  small GARLIC CLOVES, minced
1 tsp. FRESH GINGER, minced
dash CAYENNE PEPPER  (optional)


Stirring constantly, simmer on med.-low heat untll smooth and thickened
(about 5 minutes).

After cooking, add a bit more water if you want to thin out the sauce.
The sauce will thicken as it cools.
